7yr old Avonela Andrew to Join St Jago College in Jamaica, on a 2yr Athletics scholarship. The 17yr old 400m runner, joined the GSWF athletics programme 6 months ago, and is coached by Antonia McIntosh.

“It is in my great honor to express my gratitude towards the team of the Grenada sports and well being foundation for assisting me and paving my way to be granted a scholarship to Jamaica. I knew from the start that it was never going to be easy but myself along with my coaches ensured that the adequate amount of work was being put in to ensure great results. Despite the fact that this is only a stepping stone to greater success, a big thank you goes out to the team behind GSWF.
