The GSWF is planning to expand its holistic youth development programme with a multi-media studio offering training courses in a wide range of activities which will equip young people in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique with the skills and expertise to participate in, gain employment and contribute to emerging Creative Industries

Proposed courses include: 

• Film & documentary production/editing/scriptwriting

• Interviewing & Podcasting

• Photography

• Music: studio recording, mixing and production/drumming/dance

• Creative Writing

• Acting & directing

• Recording & documenting indigenous history & culture

• Visual & Plastic Arts

This new initiative represents a major step forward in GSWF’s mission to educate and empower disadvantaged young people in Grenada and the wider Caribbean, enabling them to live healthy conscious lives, develop their full potential and creatively contribute to regional progress and effective decolonisation. Projects like this are vital to replacing a legacy of dependency with a culture of agency and true independence. Sustainable development begins with our young generation, the heirs of the future.
