Olympic 100m Hurdler Phylicia George, visited the GSWF to continue here warm weather preparations for the upcoming Olympic Games in Japan 2021, Phylicia was accompanied by her head coach Jani Ratina. The young athletes were very excited to meet a Olympian who’s roots are from Carriacou, they were coached in the art of hurdling. Jani Retina spoke of the need of hurdlers in the region. He is looking to establishing a program in Carriacou to attract other athletes in the region to attend. The GSWF would like to thank Phylicia George and her coach, Jani Retina all the best in Japan.
